New Blog yet again...

For my 5 followers, (thanks Liz for being the 5th), I have switched meredithdanielsblog.blogspot.com to my new gmail address.  You'll notice that this blog now says, meredithdanielsblogold.blogspot.com; this is linked to my old gmail address.  Whew, getting married and changing your last name on everything is a pain.  Believe it or not, getting a new social security card was the easiest part.

So just continue to go to http://meredithdanielsblog.blogspot.com to see my posts.  I'm posting this in hopes that you will follow me on the blog that is linked to my newest gmail account.  It only took me 3 years to gain 5 followers, I would like to keep them : )

CHEERSPORT, Catherine, Dillon, & Hunter

I can't believe I didn't post 1 entry during the month of January!  For my 4 followers, I'm so sorry!  My excuse is CHEERSPORT.  We had our largest Nationals ever (8th or 9th year of being the largest Cheerleading & Dance Competition in the World, I can't keep track : )  We had over 850 teams in Atlanta, GA February 5 - 7th.  So if you're interested in seeing a little bit of this cheerleading action, you can see it at www.CHEERSPORT.tv.  I suggest watching the Shawn Johnson video, she explains why cheerleading is a sport!  And YES, I just said Shawn Johnson!  We were lucky enough to have the Olympic Gold Medalist at our event!  

But now onto pictures - since I haven't taken any pictures since Catherine's senior portraits at Thanksgiving, I'm posting more pictures of her, her boyfriend Dillon, and her dog Hunter. 

Catherine's Senior Portraits

I had the honor of photographing my dear friend and co-worker's daughter, Catherine.  This was my first senior portrait shoot, and we had fun in downtown Asheville.  I was so excited and honored that they would drive 4 hours from Atlanta for me to take pictures for them!  So Congratulations Catherine, Class of 2010!

You might be asking where I was when I took this picture....well...uh...I was in the backseat of a police car!  But no, I was not in trouble.  My mom and I were delivering a flashlight to Zac that he left at home, and I thought what a great opportunity to get a picture of him at work!

And we couldn't leave Roscoe at home!  Look how happy they are to see each other!

My Weekend Project

I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend home in Asheville with Sam.  I finally got around to putting some pictures in frames and getting them on the wall!  It's so nice to look up there and see wedding pictures :)  I also dusted shelves and mopped the floor, but that doesn't make for a pretty picture!

I photographed Nara and Jeff about 1 1/2 years ago right before their June 2008 wedding (woohoo my 1st repeat customer!).  They are so relaxed in front of the camera, and Nara is the cutest pregnant woman ever!  I can't wait to meet "baby skippet!"

Meet the Thomas Family

Meet the Thomas Family, whose 2 girls cheer at Charlotte Allstars.  Of course I had to ask them to tumble for me - plus it was a little chilly and I was trying to help warm them up : )
